The Nigeria Implementation Science Alliance (NISA) held its annual conference (@nisaconference), 2023, in Abuja, Nigeria. This significant event was hosted by ECEWS, with the CEO Mr Andy Eyo serving as the conference co-chair. Mr Andy highlighted ECEWS's pivotal involvement in this collaborative effort among United States PEPFAR-supported implementing partners, research universities, and policy makers to enhance healthcare by bridging the gap through implementation science and research. Over 200 participants from more than 50 organizations attended the conference, where over 60 abstracts were presented as posters or oral presentations. The event provided a platform for sharing innovative ideas, fostering collaborations, and advancing public health in Nigeria and beyond. During the event, Mr. Andy Eyo also notably emphasized the potential of partnerships between NGOs and academic institutions in tackling health disparities and propelling implementation science forward.
